Non-contributory family insurance

Your family is very important to you – and to us as well. We therefore look forward to when every family member is insured by the BKK. In many cases, your relatives will also be insured by the BKK without any additional contributions having to be paid. This applies to your children as well as your partner, provided that they do not have an income or only have a small income of their own.

Deutsche Bank's BKK offers comprehensive insurance cover to you and your family members. This applies to health insurance as well as nursing care insurance.

The following are covered by the non-contributory family insurance:

  • your spouse or registered partner.
  • Children up to the age of 23, if they are not employed.
  • Children up to the age of 25, if they are still in school or at university.

This is how it works:

We need some information to be able to register your relatives with the BKK. To simplify matters, we have provided you with a family questionnaire which you can download from here.

We need the form to be completed in German and signed by you before you return it to us.

We have translated the form into English to make it easier for you to complete the German family questionnaire: Questionnaire for inclusion in the family insurance policy

End of the family insurance

The family insurance will end when the children's age limits are exceeded or your spouse/partner becomes employed, although being insured by the BKK can normally be continued.

Do you still have questions?
