Non-contributory family insurance

Your family is very important to you – and to us as well. We therefore look forward to when every family member is insured by the BKK. In many cases, your relatives will also be insured by the BKK without any additional contributions having to be paid. This applies to your children as well as your partner, provided that they do not have an income or only have a small income of their own.

What Deutsche Bank's BKK offers you

Deutsche Bank's BKK offers comprehensive insurance cover to you and your family members. This applies to health insurance as well as nursing care insurance.

The following are covered by the non-contributory family insurance:

  • your spouse or registered partner.
  • Children up to the age of 23, if they are not employed.
  • Children up to the age of 25, if they are still in school or at university.

This is how it works:

We need some information to be able to register your relatives with the BKK. To simplify matters, we have provided you with a family questionnaire which you can download from here:

Download the document

To process family insurance we do need additional to the family questionnaire a copy of your certificate of marriage and/or copies of the certificates of birth of your children. And we do need a copy of the confirmation of the registration office, about your registration at your place of domicile in Germany.

End of the family insurance

The family insurance will end when the children's age limits are exceeded or your spouse/partner becomes employed, although being insured by the BKK can normally be continued.
